Namaste Tandoori Restaurant and Fish & Chips

The pricing here is good, people are friendly and food is above average. It's slow though so be patient. They won't run out to greet you. It has the feel like you're eating at their house. One order at a time and each one done with care. Garlic Naan is quite good. I've been coming here for a while and will keep returning.

This joint is 2 kms away from my home. I have had lot of takeouts from this place. From Chicken starters to Veggie pakoras, or Chicken Biryani.. Mutter Paneer, Shahi paneer or Veg biryani.Everything I have had , or my friends , we have loved it. The owner is very soft spoken and always smiling.The Green Chutney is really hot, and i always take couple of extra portions.If you are in the area, do try it out.

One of my favorite restaurants! The decor isn't fancy but the food is fabulous! I used to drive to Georgetown whenever I had a yen for Indian food. When I heard they had sold the Georgetown location I was crushed! I can't tell you how thrilled I was when I discovered they had opened a new location in Mississauga. When I went into the new location for the first time I was greeted so enthusiastically - I could see they were genuinely happy to see me. Not many places like that. They cook everything fresh when you order so it takes a bit of time but it is worth every minute! Their fresh naan is out of this world! The very best I have ever had! Just go there, you will be so glad you did!!!!

We missed this place! This was our local in Georgetown but then they moved. The people that took over and used the same name in Georgetown need to change it as they ruined the food. We drove from Georgetown to the new location ORIGINAL OWNERS) to have our Indian food and that's what we will do from now on! It was amazing as usual!!!! Chicken Palak is fantastic! Worth the drive!

The Tibetan couple who own and run this restaurant are salt of the earth people. They are always there with the warmest of welcomes. Georgetown truly lost one of the GTA's hidden gems when they left for their new location in Mississauga. When I finally found that they had moved, I went for lunch there and when the owners saw me, they recognized me right away and I was greeted like royalty. It was an experience I will never forget. All this, AND food is terrific!!! All the dishes are freshly prepared and absolutely delicious. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone wanting truly fresh prepared curries and Tandoori. Try the Vindaloo, it's the best!!
