Bidrage med feedbackThis restaurant was delicious! The entrées of spring rolls and spicy soup were delicious along with the main course. I took the pad se-eiw (if that's the proper way to spell it) it was really great and tasty! My boyfriend had rice paper rolls with chicken and veggies that were also delicious. Overall good restaurant that is small and cozy and won't cost you much.
I was hoping that the food tastes good enough to compensate for the lousy service, but unfortunately it is not. I ordered the Chow Kwai Tiu, who should be like the Malaysian Char Koay Teow, but really is not even close. The Malaysian version comes with rice needle, egg, bean sprouts, shrimps and slices of fish cake. The Lemongrass version had no egg I could recognize and came with a few miserable beaver of beef, cabbage and carrot, plus a chip of sesame seeds, and the noodles were soggy?! The bad service was when I placed my order. The boss asked me if I wanted my Chow Kwai Tiu with or without Curry. Curry? Since when did CKT come with Curry? She answered, I just asked if you want curry. Answer yes or no! I don't need you to talk west! That's Cantonese for enough of your BS and it's pretty rude. I was shocked, and she must have seen my face look, even with the mask. Really? Are you real? was my answer. Anyway, I paid, took the number she gave me, then 6 ft sat away and waited for my number to be called. When my order was finished, it was clear that she was quite shy about what had happened, but there was no excuse. I took my food and went, and now I tell you this place is not worth it. I could be bad service from a 3 star Michelin restaurant, but from this place?
I ordered from Uber Eats . I have the Shrimp Wonton soup and the Fried Squid. I can't even explain how angry the food was. Ruined my day!!!! I'll never order from you again. The soup had devastated salad leaves in it and was polluted with evil cheap shrimps. The fried squid was salty and greasy and tasteless like H*LL and I think my blood pressure is only huge. What are you waiting for? YUCKLES
The best Chinese food in Mississauga. Great prices and selection. For over 20 years. Wait as expected. Some times they are very busy, but cooking time is reasonable. Best food pork chops Squid Spicy chicken wing shrimp in Lobster sauce
I came to this restaurant for great criticism. But it turns out that this restaurant is very disappointed. While I waited for more than 30 minutes for my food to be ready, I noticed that there were many FLIES. I felt so disgusting. If the waiting zone flies around, how about the kitchen?? That's what I thought. Their foods are not so large (they are BLAND). The rice of Schezuan Shrimp is NOT FRESH and too soft. The lady (she is also the owner of Lemon Grass Chicken, the house of Pepper, and Yogi Noodles next door) is rude and has a bad temperament. It's so sad that as the owner of the restaurant, it seems she doesn't know how to offer a great service. It cannot behave and react accordingly to customers. After waiting for more than 30 minutes, I followed and asked why my food was not ready yet? She grabbed me and said rudely that CHICKEN COOKED is! You wanted a few things. Do you understand? Their answer does not make any sense. Other people (about 4 people) who came 10 15 minutes later, had their food ready! I also ordered lemongrass chicken on rice and thought that the chicken must be grilled (I tried to understand her apology). But then I found out later that the chicken was not grilled at all. It's not what I expected with Lemon Grass Chicken on Rice as they only cut it and roast it. It does not take too long if it is just to freeze the chicken slices, as most restaurants have cut and coated them with spicy flours before. I guess... the price is the only great here, as it is quite competitive, but with flies around, Bland taste, longer waiting time and rude service, I won't come back next time. Once it's enough!
