Bidrage med feedbackWell, I have never disappointed this place, but this time naan brot was not fresh, we told them that they were fresh, but again they brought the same totally disappointed.?????
Eating was good last two times we went and felt like it was time and effort worth it.
I love the Karahi experience. overall the karahi boys are good. but the type of huh they use is not good. that shredds like the fiber. please do not use small chickens the woody. it's a good-bye, looks like they're putting the hell under pressure and reducing the gravity. the chicken is also overcooked. the masala and the bun do not connect well. even though its cleaner place and good service, eating could be better. they are
Over priced. The food was NOT HOT. It was barely luke warm (the Karahi and nan)!!! When the staff was advised, they said “oh sorry”! What an absolute waste and a very POOR reflection of their management team that they can’t even make the meal on time and the right way. It really isn’t that difficult to make hot food. That’s all. Plain and simple.
Heard a lot about this place and I had been itching to try it for awhile and today I finally did.Let's start with the good: the ambience was spot on. Loved the colours and the gallery mirror wall and the funky light fixtures.Unfortunately we had a bad experience walking in and that set the tone for our visit. As we were walking in, my husband opened the door for me but a man from behind barrelled past us and past the second door that I opened without as much as a sorry or an excuse me. We looked at him as he walked to the back of the store and into the kitchen. He was an employee of the restaurant and was extremely rude and disrespectful. The service was lukewarm and so was the food. Not once a waiter smiled at us or made us feel welcome. Their attitudes told us that they wished they were anywhere but here. One waiter threw down the QR code for the menu without as much as a greeting. Another waiter took our menu and another delivered our food.Despite their website's boast that all karhais are made fresh to order, that was not the case. First of all, none of the food was hot. That was sign number one. The food was all lukewarm, including the naan. I ordered a garlic naan, which cost around $4 but there was no garlic taste whatsoever. The naan was fluffy and tasted amazing but was it garlic? Nope.We ordered 2 karhais: a kabob karhai and a chicken karhai. You'd think the gravy/masala would be different for the two dishes, but that was not the case. Other than the meat used, the masala was the EXACT same. That was sign number two of a pre-made gravy. In addition, we asked for tap water for my husband and I and were informed that due to covid restrictions they no longer provided water. I'm sorry, WHAT? I've been dining out all throughout the pandemic and this was the first restaurant that I ever heard this from. Mind you this is not a Bamiyan style fast-casual restaurant where they call your number and you grab your food and drinks. This is a full service, sit down restaurant. I'm paying a premium price and you can't serve me water? This was just stupid and made no sense.Lastly the prices were way too high for the quality and service we received. Definitely won't be going here again nor will I recommend it to anyone else.
