Harvey's - Mississauga

As a kid, I always looked forward to dining at Harvey's because the food was incredible. Sadly, that's no longer the case. The quality of the food has dropped significantly. The burgers were lackluster, with thin patties and an overall disappointing taste. To be honest, I felt nauseous afterward and regretted my choice to eat there. This experience isn't unique; I've encountered similar feelings at another Harvey's location in Brampton. Initially, I thought it might just be a one-off issue, but it's becoming clear that the chain has shifted its approach for the worse. It's really disheartening because I have so many cherished memories of enjoying delicious meals at Harvey's with my family. Now, it just doesn't feel the same. Unfortunately, I don't plan to visit any Harvey's locations in the near future, which is truly disappointing. I want to emphasize that this review focuses on food quality rather than service, which was perfectly acceptable. I ordered an Angus burger combo for my son and a cheeseburger for myself, expecting the Angus burger to be slightly larger, but it turned out to be the opposite. Goodbye, Harvey's; I hope you can return to the quality I fondly remember from my childhood.

The onion rings were quite good, and the fries were okay, but I have to say I didn't really enjoy the flavor of the burgers. I asked for cheese but didn’t get any, so I ended up adding some myself at home.

I had a disappointing experience at the drive-thru. After placing my order for two burgers and fries, the man who took my order, who had limited English skills, rudely instructed me to move forward. After waiting for 15 minutes, I ended up having to drive all the way around again. When I finally received my food, it was ice cold. It seemed like the staff member was simply too lazy to bring my order outside. Overall, it took 32 minutes to get my order at 10:00 PM on a Thursday. The service was incredibly slow. I think Harvey’s should consider hiring staff who are friendly and can communicate effectively, without being rude.

New location! The restaurant is very clean, and the staff is friendly. Overall, it was a good experience, but I thought the ice cream portion for $3 was a bit small for the price.

During my recent visit, I noticed a marked improvement in the service, and the burgers were fresh. I've decided to update my review and give it more stars this time due to the enhanced experience.
