Bidrage med feedbackPresentation was good but food not. I ordered Pav Bhaji and Pavs were very hard. We had to wait 1 hour for our bill. Servers were talking to each other not paying attention to clients.
Beautiful restaurant and very much feels like a place geared towards taking photos/videos of each plate. Each meal is an experience and fun to watch! It was exciting to see how our food would come out or how it was served. Other than being delivered beautiful plates, service was quite absent and we often had to flag anyone we could to help give additional cutlery or refill water. Washrooms were also not clean and we ended up just walking across to the mall washroom. Would recommend to avoid the busy weekend evening dinner rush, as the service is not as attentive. It can also feel very crowded. The tables are very close together so if this makes you uncomfortable, avoid busy evenings.
I did a reservation but they haven’t provide us the table.
We went on the night of Jul 16th with an open table reservation for 8:30 pm for 2 people. When we got there, they mentioned they were running late the same excuse they gave to all other people (atleast 4 other groups) who had reservations as well. Our reservation was at 8:30 and by the time it was 9:15 everyone was losing their calm. None of their staff including the owner had the courtesy to say sorry, the owner was actually enjoying smokes and drinks! They had a Sufi night event which as per them was starting at 9 for a cover of $20 per person. These people were forcing all of us to pay the extra charges even though it was their mistake that our reservations were delayed. We asked them if people who were already dining paid for the charge. The owner told us that all people who were dining inside know they have to leave by 9:30 before the Sufi night starts. It was a BIG LIE right in our faces as we went inside later and people didn’t leave or no one asked them to leave. Finally we got our seats and had to wait for a long time for our server. Once he came, he said we only had 1 shot to order whatever we wanted as they were moving to late night menu at 9:45. The service was so poor that our server didn’t come back for whole night even though he was standing so close to us. Then came the food, they served us appetizers without our plates for which we had to wait for 15 mins. Moving on, the food quality was very bad. They seem to be focused on presentation and not the taste. We could see so many people inside and outside complaining. Later the Sufi night started, which literally means they turn the place into a night club. People were vaping inside the restaurant and also on patio which is against the law. The owner himself looked drunk. I have never seen a place so badly run with owner in house. I don’t think we would be going back for food. There are much better places! They need to train the staff for customer service which starts right from the owner himself.
Extremely happy with the food, ambiance and service. Will definitely recommend to go.
