Nice place for quick and fresh Italian pasta. Chicken alfredo was really good, the bolognese was just ok. I didn't love the takeout containers we were served in though.
The only good thing is the freshness of pasta which you can taste and feel. Other than that, this place is so mundane and not worth the price. Their chicken alfredo reminds me of store bought one, meaning it's average and below. There are many better options at square one and I should have read the reviews beforehand to at least try another dish (sauce). The store is nice tho.
Overall, not too impressed, and I left a little disappointed. To start with the good stuff, they make all the pasta in house, and you could taste it in the final product. I got the Chicken Alfredo with a water, and I was a little upset at the quantity that was given and especially the price I paid. The total for the pasta and water came out to around $17, and I would be a little less upset if they filled my container to the top. As you can see with the picture attached, there was still quite a bit of space before the flaps fold at the top. The container itself is also very small (see referenced with a water bottle). Honestly, if you're looking to get the best bang for your buck, definitely avoid this place, there's better value at the other restaurants at the Food District or Food court.
The service was slow even though the cashier person said it would take ten minutes, but in reality it took 20 minutes. However, they gave a complimentary soda as condolences because my wait time was unbearably long. The food itself was mediocre, my cooking skills can make the chicken alfredo better ong, and it was $15 after tax for a small cup of pasta with chicken. They could've filled the box with more pasta, but the picture included was me opening the box without consuming anything. Their whole menu sounds good on paper, but what's the point of eating out if the person can make the food better at home? They also use too much plastic everywhere and that's not environmentally friendly of them. Understandably, it's a to-go business but they should not wrap their plastic in more plastic.
