I enjoy shopping at this Hyvee as it is closer to home. My first bad experience today. I bought 4 strip steaks and asked the young man to please wrap them separately. When I got home, they were wrapped sloppily and loose. I couldn’t freeze them, not the way they were wrapped! I had to unwrap each one and re-wrap each one. The young guy behind the butcher counter has no idea how to wrap meat.

I'm giving Hy-Vee Market Grille 5 Stars because people need to know what a great dine in option it is. People don't quite understand what it is because it's in a grocery store. But think about what better place there is for a restaurant? We came to try the Big Dozier, and it was awesome. If you're looking for a place to get a guilty barbecue sandwich in Kansas City for a good price, this is it. Hy-Vee is also a great place to get a decently priced salad bar, and sushi.

Food was great. Prices reasonable. Quiet atmosphere enabling guests to converse.
