Prized Pig - Mishawaka

The food was decent, but the service didn't stand out. I don't think I'll return to this restaurant.

Avoid the pulled pork slider kids meal. It comes on a small Hawaiian roll—only about an inch square—with just a tiny piece of meat, which a kid could finish in three bites at most. Do yourself a favor and just order the full-size sandwich instead. You’ll be spending twice the money but will get four times the sandwich!

It turns out they use a third-party service for orders, which then goes through DoorDash. Because the restaurant was busy, they had turned off their ordering system, leaving customers in the dark about the status of their orders. When I expressed my concern, they suggested I contact DoorDash regarding the charge, even though it was clearly a mix-up on their part for deactivating their ordering system without notifying customers. Throughout this process, I never received an apology, which I found quite disappointing. Given how busy they are, I doubt my feedback will make a difference, but I genuinely felt that the entire experience left a bad impression. I don't plan to return to Prized Pig. In response to their comment, I had to call to get my refund, as this was not an issue with DoorDash. The money was taken immediately from my account by Prized Pig for an order that was never fulfilled, and now I have to wait 5-7 days for a refund. What frustrates me the most is the number of misleading statements made by the staff, as mentioned here by Prized Pig. A restaurant should be about more than just the food; poor business practices like this reflect badly on them.

The temperature of the meat was questionable but the flavor made up for it especially because we were hungry. I wasn't as impressed as I was m first time eating here. The environment is cute, love the decor. The service was super basic nothing fancy. I don't see coming back here any time

Cute little place in downtown Mishawaka. Full bar. Craft beer on tap. We've been there three times 5:00pm on a Wednesday and on a Friday afternoon at 2:00p.m. Always out. Always an excuse. Today at 5:00p.m only had 2 chicken halfs, 2 orders of rib tips, and pork belly not even any green beans or baked beans. Not much of a selection for a healthy full price. Met with friends later, said the same thing. We've tried several times not a fluke. I, of course want to support local businesses but, hard to keep returning when there's never a full menu or even a half menu. I encourage others to try maybe as soon as they open?
