Monterrey Mexican Grill - Mishawaka

It was my first time coming to this place and I’m really glad I came. The food was so good. I had chicken fajitas that were really good. They weren’t dry and they had flavor. I have no complaints.Also the margaritas on the rocks were great. I’ll definitely be coming back here.

If you want excellent traditional Mexican food at a great price, this is the place. The atmosphere is fun and inviting, and the wait staff are always friendly and attentive. They have a very smart seating setup with family seating on one side and the bar area on the other, separated by the kitchen in the middle. The menu is full of options, and everything we've ordered over the years has been great! We're always amazed at how fast the food comes out, no matter if we dine in or order takeout, which we often do. Portion sizes are generous, and we typically end up taking some home for lunch the next day. Finally, I wish they sold their salsa because it's my favorite!

I absolutely love this place. I went for my birthday the first time, I went again two days later because it was that good! Both times the service was outstanding. I found my new favorite restaurant!!

Do not recommend. Just ate here for the first time today and baby cockroaches came crawling out of our chips. Unfortunately we had already eaten half of them. I told the waiter but he just shrugged and asked if we wanted more chips.
