Bidrage med feedbackPros: 1 Menu has like really many varieties yakitori, sukiyaki, shabu shabu, okonomiyaki, chawanmushi, omurice, salmon, sushi, soba and so on. 2 restaurant environment gave me the feeling that in Japan, really cozy Japanese feelings. 3 scratched place, looks similar to that of Japan, places for them is small, in the sense that they use the only space they have. 4 Suitable for small groups. I would recommend less than 6 people. The large group would probably not be a problem during peak hours. 5 foods taste the salmon sushi. 6 Located directly next to the main road Miri, easy to find. 7 famous Japanese song played. Cons: 1 It has limited spaces, large group would be a bit hard. 2 Spicy miso tofu has not fulfilled my expectation. 3 I think prices are above average. That's what you pay for so delicious food. Calm down. 4 No snake. (This is a Halal restaurant, now not that it is a bad thing, only you know = 3 P.S. I'm from KL, Sushi Mentai and Sushi Tei are my regular sushi locations. So compare. =D Feel free to visit and your own comparison as well as with opinions. Quiet.
Good quality Japanese cuisine, the 8s quite a few in Miri. Helpful and responsive employees make your dinner more pleasant. Recommended...
Great setup despite being beside the mall’s entrance. Staffs were helpful and friendly. Food wise, most of the dishes were fresh and flavourful, only the ramen was a bit disappointing. The boiled egg was badly peeled with bits of shell left on it when served, ramen tasted like those instant ramen broth. Dessert were the best amongst the rest — highly recommend their egg custard and mochi.
Came here twice. The sashimi texture is good, firm enough to spring back when pressed. It tasted fresh and smell good. The salmon terikayi rice was a bit disappointing to me. Lack of teriyaki sauce, salmon slices seemed overcooked (too dry). Not recommended. Sukiyaki nabe, the Japanese hot pot where beef and vegetables are stewed together in a sweet soup called warishita. However the beef was already cooked when served, while the rest of the raw vegetables were still not cooked. They didn’t use a portable gas stove, but use something like a candle to heat it up. We almost finished the udon and beefs in it yet the vegetables were still under cooked. The soup wasn’t that rice either. Not recommended. Apart from the two dishes above, the sushi rolls that I have ordered were pretty good. Maybe next time the chef could spend a bit more time to make sure all the sushi is fully COMPLETELY covered in fish roes before serving it to the table? I could still see some part of the ‘naked rice’ not covered in fish roe.
Good shushi but the indoor area is very small tight for quite high end shushi place (at least in miri) price is high that is expected, plus the long wait, but very well worth it, food tastes excellent
