Bidrage med feedbackI'll take my 94-year-old dad for lunch every week. Dad hasn't been in Camilla Gardens for years and he didn't visit the tearooms. Papa's fish chips were huge and I had the walnut beef salad. Luckily we shared a cone that came with homemade jam and cream because they were huge. The service was fast and the staff was friendly.
I came here with my two children and we had booked a high tea. When booking, I asked twice if we could sit on a balcony and they only reacted with anger that they already wrote this. When we arrived, they had a table for us next to the entrance. Have you asked if we can sit inside on the balcony, as it was only one table at this moment and then sit on the balcony. Not sure if someone ate before us or not, but they have removed some dishes and cutlery from the table and when I sat, I only had a knife no fork or spoon and a dish was dirty. They didn't want to ask if we need other cutlery or cups for water. Food was very average and only a few articles were missing, for example, we got only one scones, no jam and cream, no macaron and a hearty food missing. In terms of service, I did not see such an unfriendly service for a long time, no smile no nothing, hardly asked us anything, only brought our things, the staff was boring and looked angry, although it only occupied 2 more tables, so it was not at all busy. Really disappointing and overpriced experience at $95, we went after 30 minutes and will definitely not come back even though we love Camellia gardens.
Delightful staff, nice setting, devine tea room, lace tablecloths, delicious right teacups and saucers, amazing menu! Many very comfortable seating, cozy lounges. My Devonshire tea with the choice of losing tea was fantastic.in a real porcelain teapot! Everything was PERFECT! I'm looking forward to returning. It was very nice to visit my daughter, and it took my mind out of the fires where I live in Bateman's Bay.
The Tee House gave care service that has a tasty selection of cakes and more essential lunch options well a reservation.
The teahouse looks charming but it feels crowded with tables too close together is quite noisy because of the tiled floor. The staff are quick to take your order but slow to deliver. The food is nice but not great way over priced....Lunch 2 mains, a shared piece of cake 2 hot drinks) cost me $65. I had been there on another occasion for high tea, also overpriced at $55/head for what you get. Won't return :
