Pizzaria Gorgonzola - Miranda Do Douro

Very good pizzas made to order: wide choice of topping and tasty crust. The staff is efficient and very friendly. Good choice of IPA beers or local wines. Sit at the back to admire the Douro and barrage. Very good value in a strange town...

The pizza was really good, with the best crust ever. I had the pizza called «Pesto». We had a table at the small balcony in the back, with a perfect view over Douro river. The sun was gorgeous on this winter day.

Wasn't sure I even wanted a pizza but with other restaurants shut early or because a Wednesday, or didn't take credit cards, I gave it a go. The tros monthanos or 3 mountains was great with sausage, olives and onions. And cheap wine. All on Visa. Recommended even if you're not sure. Nicely baked and light with great toppings.
