Homestyle Flavours - MINTO

Plotted our route home to London from Collingwood. When we went to Collingwood we found a little place to stop and did so on the way home. Homestyle flavors was a little more off our route but was an excellent reason to stop and stretch our legs. Everything looked excellent from baked goods to the meats and cheeses. I was very tempted to get a sandwich but still had a little more driving to do so we just decided to grab some special treats for Christmas eve. Great reason to stop and would totally go out of my way to stop there again in the future.

Homestyle Flavours was recommended by collegaues due to their amazing sandwiches and desserts. We were not disappointed. The sandwiches were great as was the price. The butter tarts were very, very good! Highly recommend if looking for a quick bite or desserts!

Awesome food as well as the baking is Amazing. Their sandwiches must have half a pound of meat on them. Then u add what ever eise u want. Like tomatoes lettuce onions mustard mayo. Big enough to share. Their butter tarts r to die for. I always end up eating the 6 pack by myself:

We dropped in here on a friend’s recommendation, as we have occasion to pass within a mile of this shop several times a year. Oh dear!!!! We can’t decide whether we are ecstatic or upset that we found it!! Ecstatic, because every single item we purchased was soooooo delicious (cheese bread and scones, dinner rolls, bagged candy for stocking stuffers, local cheese, Christmas cookies and squares and peanut butter balls (WOW! — Upset, because now every time we go by, we will have to stop and spend money and put on weight. Talk about a rock and a hard place! This shop is owned by Mennonites, who are known for their fabulous baking, and is spotlessly clean and friendly. If you are at the Teviotdale roundabout, DO NOT MISS going north less than 1/2 a mile to visit this wonderful shop!

A wonderful place to visit many many times. I promise you can't stop at only once. LOL. Delicious pies, and baked goods. Bread cereals, coffee, tarts, etc. etc. A wide variety of meats and delicacies. Drop in for lunch and have a sandwich made to order to your liking, and throw in a slice of pie. Delicious. Everything freshly made.
