Hawthorne's New York Pizza And Mint Hill

Very good pizza, kids eat free Tuesday, and a nice outdoor seating area.

We have been looking for a place, besides Buffalo's Best for good chicken wings, we finally found it, Hawthornes!! Originally went there to try the pizza, hard to find good pizza too! We asked about the wings, and our server told us of the weekend special 10 wings for $10. They were fantastic. We of course like ours extra crispy. They were delicious and very meaty. Service was very friendly, both times we went. Hawthorne's is our new place to go for wings. Pizza was good too, but we ate too many wings to truly enjoy the pizza, maybe next visit.

Hawthorne's is a great establishment where you can order a pizza to go, sit and enjoy or sit at the bar and enjoy a few drinks while watching a game or news. The bartender who served me was friendly and enjoyed a good conversation. The ambience at the bar is welcoming. I sat and had some beers while I was waiting for my pizza to get out. A pizza through the slice option would be nice, but I understand that the demand here below is not there, which is why it is not offered.
