The Butcher’s Tale - Minneapolis

We had a wonderful birthday dinner for a family dinner. The food was fantastic. The ambiance in warm, comfortable, and casual. No real complaints about the service. The menu is pricey.

Upon arrival, you are captured by the ambience of the restaurant. Our server was extremely knowledgeable about menu and was able to make recommendations. He was very charismatic and enjoyable. I ordered the pork chop which was the biggest I’d seen. My wife ordered the ribeye steak which melted in your mouth. My pork chop had a honey goat cheese, caramelized apple pieces and walnuts on top. Each bite was delightful!

We've loved this place for a long time and felt ambitious about trying to squeeze it in before a Timberwolves game. Service was amazing, fast but no shortcuts, and food as always was stellar.

We have been to the Butcher's Tale before and it is one of my partner's favorite restaurants. Our waitress was wonderful and very attentive. The wait staff always has great and thoughtful recommendations. We will be back again for sure. You will not be disappointed with your food!

Enjoyed the Tequila with a Twist dinner in the more intimate basement area. Cocktails were delicious by themselves as well as with the course pairings. It was fun to have an introduction to the different tequila offerings by one brand, allowing one to see, smell, and taste the differences. The dessert beverage combo needs to be on the restaurant's main menu!
