Tenka Ramen - Minneapolis

This restaurant is absolutely incredible. I was willing to drive 90 miles just for lunch because the food was that delicious. I brought friends with me on my third visit and one of them loved the food so much that they had to order a second bowl. The pork belly dish is especially amazing. I don't understand how my friend managed to eat that much! I always make it a rule to stop at a candy store and eat ramen whenever I go on vacation, no matter where I am in the world. Anyone who gives this place a bad review clearly doesn't know good ramen.

During my travels, I always make sure to try a good bowl of ramen before I move on to the next destination. I decided to visit Tenka Ramen based on the positive reviews, but unfortunately, I was left disappointed. A major red flag for me was seeing sriracha sauce on every table, as authentic Japanese ramen places don't typically offer this condiment. In fact, it can detract from the true flavors of the pork ramen broth. As I suspected, the shoyu ramen I ordered was underwhelming. The broth was overly oily and lacked the rich pork flavor I was expecting. The chashu pork was also a bit tough compared to other places I've tried. The only saving grace was the decent service I received. Even the taro bubble tea was disappointing due to the use of low-quality taro milk powder. I would advise other ramen enthusiasts like myself to steer clear of this establishment, as it falls short of delivering an authentic ramen experience.

This place is great. The ramen is yummy The only part which can be improved is the broth.

I tried the Spicy miso ramen and it was the best I have ever had. I would highly recommend it.

The customer service here is extraordinary. Mix up with our DoorDash order and even though it wasn't their responsibility, they helped to make it right. Ten out of 10 support the small business!!! I can't findService: 5/5
