Hazel's Northeast - Minneapolis

We were recommended this restaurant and went in with high hopes. Their burger is now among my top 10 favorites of all time (I can't recall the other nine right now, so don't ask!). It was cooked to perfection! The hand-cut fries, which are my favorite, were fantastic—completely grease-free. My husband really enjoyed his chicken sandwich, particularly the spicy pickles that accompanied it. We've also heard that their brunch is excellent, so that's next on our list! I highly recommend this place—10/10!

The experience was quite inconsistent. I ordered takeout today and went for the fried chicken sandwich. The pictures on the website suggested it would be crispier. I was disappointed to find that the meal consisted of small, soggy chicken and limp fries, especially considering it cost $16.

Hazel's always exceeds my expectations! I really missed visiting during the pandemic. Everything is even better than before. I highly recommend it!

Love Hazels NE! Been a frequent diner here for years now. It is an old-school joint serving Americana with great service! Tonight we had chicken waffles, fish chips, and Gumbo. Everyone was very pleased with their meals and again the service was very attentive. I had the Gumbo, which was delicious, however the shrimp were not de-shelled properly. Will be back to visit Hazels NE soon

Dear Hazels NE! You've been here for years. It is an old school joint that serves Americana with great service! Tonight we had chicken wafers, fish chips and gumbo. Everyone was very happy with his meals and again the service was very attentive. I had the gumbo that was delicious, but the shrimps were not properly revealed. Will visit Hazels NE again
