Farmers Kitchen - Minneapolis

We loved the quality ingredients in these hearty meals, but healthy! we enjoyed dessert: a squash and pumpkin cake with perfect taste. service: excellent!

Eating was fantastic: taste, unique offers and presentation. a short but appropriate weinlist that we loved the malbac that was offered. the only complaining was the very grim person who brought us to our table. no joy in his voice, his face and his service. what a bad way to start the evening. our waitress (madeleine) was very pleasant, helpful and friendly with a great smile. we loved our table service. I would highly recommend the farmers kitchen bar.

Delicious food, absolutely delicious! so many delicious sounding dishes for choice. the atmosphere has fresh and simple mood.

Farmer’s has had more serving changes than all the other restaurants I’ve ever visited! They started with order at the counter, then table service then counter again and now dinner will be at the table with a 20% service fee. I’m sure folks would prefer counter service, with the choice of how much to tip. For a restaurant that has one of the most enviable locations (next to the Guthrie Theater), they seem to be destined to squander their good fortune.

Partaking of a fresh locally sourced meal is what you can expect at Farmer's Kitchen and Bar. We had the Harvest Bowl which was delicious. A good place to go for people with dietary restrictions such as gluten and dairy. The coffee was also outstanding. The wait staff was friendly and attentive. Prices are in the moderate range. A great spot to start your evening at the Guthrie!
