Cedar Food Grill - Minneapolis

I see a lot of fake reviews here on google so i 'm going to set the stories straight on this Cedar Food Grill. this store is not only so grossly overpriced This store has had multiple complaints of price gouging during the Covid pandemic but nothing was ever done and to this day they 're still raising prices. On top of that if you 're not watching your money quick with the math they 'll rip you off at the register. especially the deli man who will over charge every time and play off like it a was mistake when called out. He 'll even ring it up again like he fixes it but just rips you off a little less hoping you don 't notice. DO NOT USE THIS STORE! There is no love or respect for the community around them. They don 't see costumers, they see easy marks with no other store around. Again, DO NOT USE THIS STORE!Response to owner 's response:I would like to take your reply as genuine but I 'm sorry I find your reasoning doubtful seeing there are stores around the Minneapolis and the greater Twin Cities area who DO NOT charge their customers such high prices. Nor does the current market support your reasoning for those prices. As a community member who was key during the riots that kept your store intact I felt a great deal of shame when in the end we realized you used us so you could keep ripping people off. I have also been here more than twenty years so I know the ownership has changed hands during that time as well as the price hikes. Hopefully you 'll reconsider your outrageous prices in the future but I 'm not holding my breath. I 'm currently working with city housing associations and representatives to find other legal options, if any, since this is the common reply to all the complaints towards this store. Hopefully we can create some new form legislation to address this situation. Hope to see you then to give your market explanation and please Bring receipts. We will.

I've seen this store for several years now they definitely are amazing people they are built strong and sturdy we love the atmosphere inside

So i Had a grown man yelling at and trying to break the door down on my pregnant wife at this place. The bathroom door was not in any form made obviously out of order or only for staff, in fact had the fully intact bathroom sign we've all seen on public restroom doors.I took a quick look a nobody was in it, there was hand soap and it was not a site of obvious remodeling. I do not doubt he (owner whatever a**hole) would have broken that door straight into my wife and stood there while she tried to clean up. We're worried about a possible baby loss and all he could do the whole time was screamed at us to leave (yea he knew about her pregnancy) stay AWAY

The food here is usually really good! It's not in the best of spots in Minneapolis. Sometimes there's a lot of people hanging outside selling or doing drugs. The last few times I have gone there, there has been a couple people outside asking for money and such. For being a convenience store their food is really good tho! It's kind of like a small grocery store as well with a lot of things you would need that are the basics.

Best corner store/deli in town. They got amazing food in the deli and a big convenient store with all the essentials and more
