Cardigan Donuts - Minneapolis

I absolutely love this place! I first heard about it on the Jason Matheson show and decided to stop by yesterday. I tried a glazed raised donut and a sprinkle cake donut. The glazed donut is, without a doubt, one of the best I've ever tasted. I'm usually not a fan of cake donuts because they tend to be dry, but that was definitely not the case here. The sprinkle cake donut was fantastic as well. Plus, the customer service was excellent. This place is definitely a winner, and I will be returning for sure!

This is the best donut shop in the state! They offer delicious donuts and excellent coffee, making it a fantastic spot to relax. I absolutely love this place!

Cardigan Donuts is both my favorite and least favorite part of my walk to work. I absolutely love the kombucha samples available at the register—such clever marketing! The 'old fashioned' donuts are simply the best; I can never resist them because they are just that perfect. While the other donuts look amazing too, I find myself consistently drawn to this specific one. One of the highlights of visiting this shop is how the staff treats me. They are incredibly nice, friendly, and helpful, and they genuinely seem to enjoy working there! Overall, it's a fantastic place. The only downside is how stopping by as often as I would like might impact my waistline...

I've had Cardigan Donuts many times over. I even had a meeting with my boss here once; a donut and a cup of coffee makes for a great meeting! Today though, I went into Cardigan, ordered two donuts, and went up to the register. Now I fully assumed that they accepted Samsung Pay due to their fancy-looking registers. Sadly, they did not. Dismayed, I gave them a little flack for not accepting it, and was ready to leave my bag of donuts with them and walk back to my office. But I didn't end up doing that! One of the guys at the register looked into my bag, and then told me it was okay, I can have my donuts on the house, come back again and bring some friends! I am floored. What customer service, and well, kindness! Way to run a business guys! You've now earned a dedicated customer (I already was, but that's beside the point . The donuts are yummy, and to add to it, they have heart. Thanks! I'll be back and yes, I'll pay for my donuts too. Keep up the humanity guys...the world can always use more of it. :

I 've tried most of the other gourmet shops, and they 're good, but honestly, these are the best donuts in the Cities. Cardigan is the Highlander of Mpls donuts: 'There can be only one. '
