Abbey's Bakehouse - Minett

A very cute little bakery indeed. Parking is a bit of a mess not exactly easily accessible for people with mobility issues. The baked goods are wonderful. My mom swears by the bacon foccacia bread. I tried the butter tart. Flavour was good but personally I prefer a runny tart over a more gelatinous texture. For nearly $5 I wasnt blown away. Staff are friendly and the patio is lovely. Woukd definitely come back and try the cookies next time!

DELICIOUS!!!!! Scrumptious! Delightful to the palate. This place is a gem, fabulous location and food of the utmost quality. They tend to close after Labour Day weekend which is a shame as it would be nice to depend on this as a year-round establishment. The setting and the building a highly attractive. This place should be a must-visit on anyone’s list to the area.

Good ice cream, not so many options on the bakery side. Nice detail having the Muskoka chairs outside.

Had the best yogurt parfait ever. Cute location with lots of outdoor Muskoka chair seating and many staff. Was very busy when I was there on a Saturday morning, but went pretty quickly. Butter tart was good too.

Hidden gem. They claimed their butter tarts won some Muskoka award. We decided to split one, and concluded it was 'life affirming. ' Rich, caramelized, gooey insides, unlike any other you have tried. They have maple bacon too. Blueberry muffin survived a fall off the dock into the lake...was still delicious. Will be back!
