Cactus Grill - Minersville

Loved the band (which is why this place was suggested to our group), and the added pleasure of a celebrity visiting his hometown and restaurant.

Food good, service got mixed up for us so was odd to not be waited on until after others who arrived later, but our waiter was cool thereafter.

Great place to go to. We will definitely stop by again

Went here for lunch on a day trip came back for dinner later on because it was so good!Appetizers were great (fried pickles and zucchini are what we tried.)Atmosphere gives the vibe of family owned, close knit group of people who are hardworking, kind supportive to each other. No doubt this place has some history and looks like they do a beautiful catering spread based on photos.Some fun impressive cacti in the foyer. Second time we went there was live music and it was super good music fun to watch everyone enjoy themselves. They made space for us on the porch regardless of whether we had a reservation. Fast service, amazing food and friendly people. They seem involved in the community invested in philanthropy.Definitely would go back.If you’re first time visiting I’d recommend the chicken and waffles. The waffles literally melt in your mouth and it is probably the best rendition of this dish I’ve had to date.Thank you for a great dining experience! We (4) visited on a Wednesday night at 6:30pm. We sat outside on the patio. The food was fabulous, and our server, Rachel, was great. Very attentive, polite, friendly. I had the Veal chop and it was absolutely amazing. Cooked perfectly and very flavorful. Great relaxed atmosphere.
