Sweet Diner - Milwaukee

Really loved our food. Got an omelet and the Oreo pancakes. We were stopping by in Milwaukee just for breakfast and this place was packed in a good way. Meaning the food is very good and the locals love it. We came by on a Tuesday and we're seated right away. Everything was amazing, except our particular waiter was completely inattentive. He spilled my coffee on the table and didn't bother cleaning it up. He never checked on us. And he only refilled our coffee after we paid our bill. Otherwise the experience was amazing and I think that was just a one-off bad server. Would definitely come back. Seems like a great place to work remotely as well.

First time here. The first thing that struck me was just how well designed the entire restaurant was. Great light, spacious seating, and just an overall nice vibe. Got seated right away. Ordered a couple of Lattes. I got a London Fog, made perfectly with a little lavender, little vanilla. Nice foam too. (don't you just hate it when there's no foam). Lots of interesting things to choose from the menu. Plenty of breakfast items, as well as sandwiches. It was a tough choice but I picked the Smoked Salmon Benedict. It was perfect. Plenty of salmon, the eggs were poached, and runny, the hollandaise was rich with good consistency. Came with potatoes on the side, they were good, but nothing special. During the entire meal, our server did a great job, explaining the drink choices, taking our order, checking up with us. The manager shopped over to, making sure we were all good. An overall excellent experience. We will be back.

The food here is so delicious!! You can't go wrong trying the chicken and waffles. The service is outstanding, thumbs up all around. Definitely deserving of 5 stars all around.

I came in Saturday morning and was waited on by a young lady named Molly. She was very personable and seemed to care about great service. She wasn 't robotic or just going through the motions. Really made my experience top notch. Will definitely be coming back and asking for her as my server!

Ate here for breakfast yesterday before heading to Summerfest, and we loved it! We were a party of five, and everyone enjoyed their meal. The food is stunningly presented and SO tasty! 10/10 for the grilled cheese with bacon and pesto. So good. I want to go back to Milwaukee just to visit Sweet Diner again!
