Crab Du Jour Xpress Cajun Seafood

I 've been waiting for months to try this place out, ever since that glorious coming soon sign was up. Both my husband and I were excited for a new seafood joint and since Red Lobster, directly across the street, has really only been the other close option for a very long time. Dining in is not something we really do anymore since Covid hit, but it didn 't look busy so we decided to pop in and take a chance... I 'm kind of sad that we did.I really wanted a great experience. I didn 't come in looking to nitpick or find fault. But our food wasn 't great, and we both left feeling bad about the experience. I was only going to give two stars, but added one because I do want this place to stick around and be better. Your experience may be better.

Very slow service, terrible food. We had a party of 6 and each dish came out one at a time and several minutes in between. The first person who got their food ate it all by the time the last person got theirs. Another person didn't get their appetizer. The quality of the lobster roll was particularly weird and bad. I won't be back.

We originally went into their chain competitor across the street but no one seemed to be working so we went across to give them a try. We were immediate greeted, and friendly staff took great care of us! Very good food and very reasonably prices. Thanks for the nice meal!
