Champion's Pub - Milwaukee

Been coming to Champion’s Pub for the better part of the last 15 years or so. I absolutely love the spot. Want to order a cocktail and melt away into a corner with a book and be left alone? Champion’s has you covered. Feeling down and need some adult interaction without it being creepy? Champion’s has it covered. Everybody is welcomed with open arms and you get great bang for your buck when ordering a drink. Quality bartenders and an amazing cast of regulars will keep you entertained all night. A must visit if you haven’t yet.

I moved to the neighborhood in part because of Champion's. I've been on dates there in the afternoon, where we sipped Guinness and read together. In warm weather, the lovely patio sometimes serves as my home office. Great place to watch a game. Nice mix of ages and cultures. Converse or chill. Bartenders strike a good balance between chatting up regulars and slinging drinks. When you're there, you know exactly where you are--it gives a genuine sense of place. Highly recommended.

One of the classic Milwaukee taps. Bobby behind the bar treats you like one of his own, and there's always something to talk about. Have watched soccer here in the morning, and also have stopped in for a quick one on my way home in the afternoon or evening. Even if it's a long time between visits, always feels like home. Unmatched on the east side.

Champions is the quintessential Milwaukee pub experience. While the pub is almost always filled with locals and regulars, out of town guests are welcomed with that one-of-a-kind Milwaukee hospitality. The bartenders are experts in their craft and great listeners. Quite possibly the best part of Champions is that it’s a generational family business. When you visit Champions, you are supporting local business and local people.

Absolutely Amazing place! In the summer, you have a huge and beautiful patio to enjoy and tv outside to watch the game. As fall approaches, there little bonfires to keep you warm as you watch Sunday Night Football. Once a month theres fun entertainment and a cool local musician or band. The owners are absolutely delightful and the kindness you'll meet. If you like pull tabs and bar dice this is your bar. Ever the hidden treasure!
