Bambu Desserts Drinks - Milwaukee

The restaurant has a diverse selection of interesting drinks, although I wouldn't really categorize them as bubble tea; instead, they feel more like desserts. I sampled combo menu items #2 and #9, and I have to say, the desserts were fantastic. They included chewy green fruit, red bean, and taro. That said, the desserts were quite dense, so I suggest asking for extra ice.

The drinks here are fantastic, and the staff is incredibly friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable! I highly recommend giving this place a visit!

To make matters worse, the person who took my order this evening didn’t seem very friendly. I had just walked in and was still browsing the menu when she asked if I was ready to order. I was quite taken aback. It felt like she didn’t want to be there, and I definitely wasn’t trying to rush her. In the end, I paid $17.41 for my drinks, and I won't be returning!

I used to really enjoy the salted caramel coffee and a few other drinks at this restaurant, but since they changed the recipe, it just hasn't been the same. I recently visited and asked if they could make it using the original recipe, but I was told no by either the owner or the manager. This was surprising, especially since one of the staff members had made it for me before the new recipe was introduced. As a loyal customer for nearly a year, I feel disappointed because I truly appreciated that drink's flavor. It’s frustrating, especially considering I’ve spent between $40 and $80 or more each week at this place. You would think they would want to keep their customers satisfied. One of the employees was willing to accommodate my request, so I don’t understand why the owner couldn't do the same. They've certainly lost several customers, myself and my kids included, because of these recipe changes. Now, I'm looking for a new boba shop that genuinely values its customers and serves great cold coffee and drinks.

I really love taking my family here at least once a week. The coconut smoothie with boba is incredibly tempting!
