The Sussex Ox - Milton Street

The Sussex Ox was absolutely fantastic. The atmosphere was perfect, the food was exceptional, and the local drinks menu was delightful. It felt surprisingly intimate, despite the spacious venue and lively dining scene. The service was impeccable when needed, yet discreet enough not to be intrusive. I had heard wonderful things about the Sussex Ox from a friend, and it exceeded all my expectations. It was an incredible afternoon that has me eagerly anticipating my next visit for more delicious food.

This charming little pub is perfect for families and dog owners, offering delicious food to enjoy. There are fantastic walking trails right at your doorstep, making it an ideal spot for outdoor enthusiasts. In the summer, the garden provides plenty of space to relax, while in the winter, you can cozy up by the beautiful open fire.

This is a lovely pub with a stunning view. The food was exceptional; every bite was absolutely delicious. We can't wait to return. I can't recommend it highly enough!

The most beautiful workers! wonderful atmosphere, delicious food. I wish there were more vegetarian options. I had the minze and pea risotto and I was not a fan, unfortunately it was a little on the salty side and I just didn't like the combination of the two aromes. but unlike this place is just so beautiful.

Excellent. Good service, very friendly staff, beer was good. Someone mentioned earlier that not enough for Vegetarians. We had three off the bar snacks menu that were vegetarian. It is expensive I suppose but worth it. Love the Lamb chips. Dogs were made very welcome.
