It's a nice fast food place to go to when everything else is closed but man is it expensive! But it isn't really that. I have ordered before and they comepletey messed up the order. Asked for a large sweet tea and they had gave us a small coke? Next weordered onion rings and they gave us fries? And then last we ordered 3 piece chicken and they gave us two I believe. It is finethough. The food is still great. Also, their fries are not very salty or flavored, just taste like plain potatoes but notsomething I will pull my hair out over.
I went inside to eat with my family of five, so I was prepared for a longer wait. However, after sitting for 30 minutes and watching them prioritize the drive-thru orders while ignoring customers inside, it became frustrating. My wife brought up the receipt to inquire about our order, and the manager reacted aggressively, saying they had to focus on the drive-thru. I'm sure the service is fine for those using the drive-thru, but our experience was utterly unacceptable. To make matters worse, the manager mumbled under her breath throughout the entire refund process.
Whataburger offers excellent food and has a friendly staff, surpassing both Burger King and McDonald's.
I had a great experience at this restaurant, and the cashier, Serena C., was exceptionally friendly. I wasn't let down during my visit. This time, I ordered the patty melt and onion rings, enjoyed half of them, and took the rest home. My favorite item at What-A-Burger is the taquitos, which are followed closely by what I had today. My only issue with the What-A-Burger chain is their pricing for extra cheese on the taquitos. They initially include only half a slice of cheese and then have the audacity to charge seventy-five cents for another half slice! With the near 100% profit margins they likely make on their soft drinks, wouldn't you think they could be a bit more generous with an extra half slice of cheese? Or is it just me that feels this way?
