The Works Gourmet Burger Bistro

3.5 stars for this great burger place! My husband and I have been here about 3 times now with our most recent visit being last week. There are a couple things that I like about this place. First, I really like the variety of burgers here there are so many options that it makes it hard to pick just one! There really is something for everyone and if there isn't, you're too picky! The names for the different burgers are also fun. On our most recent visit, I got the Obi Wan Kobe's Man Cave burger which was made up of Kobe style Wagyu beef, cheese, bacon, barbecue sauce and caramelized onions. The blend of toppings tasted good together and it was hearty I would get this again. My husband got a similar Wagyu burger minus the bacon and barbecue sauce that mine had, which was also tasty. The arugula on it was a fresh change. Their hand cut fries and chips are also fresh tasting and crispy they're perfectly fried each time we've come here. I also like how despite this place being busy on each of our visits, we've been seated within a few minutes. Servers are polite and friendly enough despite constantly turning around to take orders or bring orders to tables. The exposed brick and industrial look of this place is also cute. The main downside to dining here is that it can get expensive since each burger is almost $20 each but it does come with a choice of side. Some of the burger flavour combinations are not the most inventive or unique but again, this place gets points for variety. If you're on a budget, my tip is to wait for their Buy 1, Get 1 Free coupons in the mail who doesn't love a deal?! I really can't complain when paying half the cost here for a good burger. Also, you can get a free onion ring tower as a side on your next visit if you sign up for their e newsletter. Enjoy!

I came to The Works with some friends last night the food was really good! Really big portions, so it was worth the price. I got a poutine (wished they made it with cheese curds for the Get Baked Poutine my husband got a burger. Really delicious! The only reason I'm giving it 4/5 is because we noticed a lot of little flies (fruit flies? . I would see 2 in my vision at any given time as I sat there. It's quite cold out now, so I'm not sure if that means there's more flies in the building.

Haven't been here in forever (since before the panny) but it's still a nice burger. Got a peppercorn chicken breast with arugula, bacon, and cream cheese and some Mac cheese. Our host was very friendly and took care of us. It's a family joint so it's a bit loud there's 80s music playing. If you want burgers of various varieties they'll do you right.

With it being self isolation still with COVID -19 we decided to order through skip the dishes. A lot of restaurants on Uber eats in Milton were unavailable on a Saturday night at 630 pm so we decided to check out skip the dishes. Luckily they had the works which is a restaurant we've been meaning to check out for a while. Overall I highly recommend. The food came in the alloted specified time. It was still fresh and high quality. The Onion rings and fries were still very crispy too. See below for the full review: Onion rings: These were huge and still very crispy when they arrived. You get to choose 2 sauces so we ordered the W sauce and buttermilk ranch. The sauces went really well with the onion rings and my only complaint is that there wasn't enough sauce. The sk8ter burger: topped with bacon, cheese and peanut butter. We ordered with a beyond meat party which did not cost extra which was nice. We topped it with a pickle and the acid went really nicely. We upgraded our side for a poutine and it was huge. Originally we were going to order a full order of poutine but glad we didn't because the side order was more the enough. Would order this burger again but the back was a bit random and probably could have done without. The kids cheese burger: basic burger we upgraded for a veggie burger (unfortunately the beyond meat patty would have cost extra). I'm glad we got this because a full sized burger would have been too much food. Also the side order of fries was big enough for an adult serving which is great

Yummy and fresh , always a great burger and I like that you can get the burger changed to a chicken breast for example:
