Bidrage med feedbackWe chose this restaurant as our second option, and I'm really glad we did. The broth was absolutely delicious! I ordered the brisket noodle soup, but I found there was a bit too much connective tissue for my taste. However, it was perfect for my friend who ordered a similar dish. My son ordered the pork nose soup and enjoyed it much more than I did. Overall, it was a good experience!
I was quite disappointed with my order of Guilin Rice Noodle with two meat choices: Beef Brisket and BBQ Pork. Instead, I received beef tripe and unappetizing meat in my Uber order. The picture below was taken after I had a few bites and started to realize that this was not what I had ordered.
Overall, it was a decent experience. I tried the beef tripe laoyou rice noodle soup, but I expected more tripe—there were just a few small pieces. On the bright side, the soup itself was quite flavorful. My aunt ordered the beef brisket and crispy pork rice noodle soup, which had a heartier portion of meat and tasted better overall. However, I found the broth to be a bit bland in comparison. We ended up paying around $20 per bowl after adding tax and tip, which seems to be the standard these days for a bowl of noodle soup.
I recently visited a place that specializes in Guilin rice noodles. The snail soup noodles were a bit too soft and greasy, missing the distinct flavors I expected. The spring rolls were fine but also a little oily. The braised beef in the Guilin noodles didn’t taste quite authentic, and the soup was a tad too rich. There’s definitely room for improvement.
I absolutely love this place! It's my favorite spot to grab a hearty meal full of carbohydrates before hitting the gym, whether I dine in or order delivery. Food: 5/5.
