Umi Sushi - Millburn

Veery fresh fish. Good menu selections and great service. Would recommend to anyone looking for a great sushi experience.

We ordered #17 amazing and #29 Manhattan they were just OK nothing memorable. Sushi was served room temperature which I found a bit off putting (always chilled in my past experience). Service was standard and acceptable, atmosphere was routine.Overall meh.

Our sushi meal was pretty good. The staff were attentive. I think it was a pretty run of the mill sushi meal, and it felt a little expensive for what we got. We ordered one special roll, shrimp tempura roll and agedashi tofu among other things. We'llreturn to support the local business.

Sunday and finally a non rainy Sunday! So, we decided to go out, but before the outdoors, we were hungry for some sushi. I just got my gallbladder taken out, so I didn 't eat much. I did read the reviews, and a lot of people seemed to complain about service. However, I did have a very attentive service. The place was bigger and nicer than I thought. It goes in a bit deep. Nice to go with your family. The house salad was good. It 's bigger than I usually see in other sushi restaurants. We tried the ceviche tacos... they were ok... I was excited for then, but I think it was hard to get the flavors because the fried shell was thick (for being small), and all I tasted was a fried tortilla flavor We also got the sexy roll because I love scallops, and it was a very tasty roll indeed! I wish I had something different than what I saw already on Yelp, but I was starving, hahaha. I would go again and try more!

I recently dined at this restaurant for the first time and was blown away by the fantastic food. The Treasure Island starter was particularly delicious. I can't wait to come back!
