Blue Salt - Mildura

Get in my belly, pork belly!!!!! Probably the best pork belly we've ever tried. Chicken was delicious and the wine was devine. The waitress (Peta) was extremely accomodating, provided fabulous service and assured we all had a great dining experience. The chef took the time to come out and receive our positive feedback and was open to suggestions about possible menu options for the future. The only downside to our evening was the unpleasantries encountered from the owner when we provided positive feedback about her staff. I'm a firm believer of giving credit where credit is due. Thank you Blue Salt, we'll definitely be back.

Nothing really stand out about this restaurant. Prices are a bit steep for what you get and the food isn't anything special....i would compare to Primo but with slightly higher prices. Nothing to write home about

Stayed the night in Mildura and chose a restaurant by pot luck and on the recommendation of a passing local and were so glad we chose this one. On the specials board was duck a l'orange which is what I had and you had a choice of Greek salad or vegetables. I chose the vegs. There was a nice maryland piece of duck (leg & thigh) with a good mix of vegetable strips, 2 orange slices and a fantastic orange sauce. I have duck and cherry sauce quite often near home and have been wary of ordering duck anywhere else as it as never come up to scratch. This actually surpassed it. If Mildura was close to home (Bondi) I would be coming here regularly if they had the duck on the menu. My husband had the soup of the day which was potato and bacon and he said it was just what he wanted and was also very happy. He didn't want a big meal as the lunch he had wasn't sitting too comfortably in his stomach. The service was very friendly and efficient and the meal was a bit slow in being served but not overly slow. Extensive menu with quite a few specials. The only down side is they do charge a fee for using your credit card. Definitely recommend this place.

Just looking for something relaxed on a quiet Tuesday night. Not many around the whole street so it wasn't busy. Staff were very pleasant and helpful in recommending one of the specials which didn't disappoint! Pricing was good for the standard of food which was delicious. Plenty of specials also.

Im going Mildura every year and had dinner here every time. It's the best food and clean. Waitress are lovely. Love it. ????????
