BEST WESTERN Chaffey Bar & Grill

We were staying at the adjoining hotel and didn’t fancy driving all over the place to get a meal, so we thought we would try the restaurant. We were not disappointed. The waiter was warm, friendly, funny and inviting. A welcome change from so many...experiences we have had. He offered some direction on meals and they were fantastic. My wife had the pumpkin ravioli and I had the pork belly. Sensational meals. Desert was amazing too. The only downside was we couldn’t have any cocktails as COVID had meant the staff member who normally made these was unable to come to work. Even the music was great for the occasion!!!

First night in Mildura, a Saturday night, lets get out and find a great restaurant. So we hit Trip Advisor, we try the first or so, only to find they are ALL booked out? We then look for other better rated restaurants and find...Chaffey's Bar and Grill, definitely not our first choice by name, but we booked and headed off. This is a restaurant adjoining the Best Western motor inn, first impressions are not high, but we went in. To our surprise, there were lots of patrons already seated and enjoying their fare. we were early so enjoyed a drink adjacent to the bar (Covid times, not permitted to drink at the bar). The service here at this time was nothing special, and the staff looked to be busy. After some minutes or so, we were seated. From there the service improved notably, but the most outstanding was the quality and pricing of the food. We had the Beef, the Pork, and the Duck. These dishes were well presented and cooked to perfection. If you are in Mildura, and looking for a great restaurant experience, make room for Chaffey's Bar and Grill, get in there beyond the facade, and I feel sure, you will have a great experience.

The service was absolutely spot on and the wait staff very friendly. (A big shout out to Sarah Congratulations to the chef and his team whose dishes were balanced and presented beautifully. The scallops and black pudding was a culinary delight. Thank you all...for making our stay in Mildura memorable. Will be recommending this restaurant to all our friends and family.

The chefs have thought of everything with such balance and added textural components that mafe each course perfect. Scallops seared to perfection and silky filed ravioli for me. The wine list offers a surprising number of wines by the glass and every one we tried...was of high quality. Congratulations to the team and Sarah, our waitress who made our night special.

This restaurant never disappoints great service from the time you walk in to when you leave ,food is fresh well cooked and presented ,very very tasty. Arguably the best restaurant in town . I would highly recommend
