Totu - MILAZZO

Fantastic authentic Sicilian food off the tourist trail. We had the degustation which was amazing but all sorts of cheaper options were also available if you’re on a budget. The owner was amazingly friendly.

The staff are all amazing! The waitress actually remembered us the second time we dined at the restaurant and the owner took the time to ask if everything was ok. As for the food, it was all fresh and well prepared. We had the fish tacos and the vegetation tasting, which consist of 6 different vegetarian dishes. Every dish was amazing! We also had the homemade dessert with cream and fresh fruit. I’ll definitely visit the next time I’m in Milazzo.

As we always do, we arrived in the city very late, around 11:00 pm so we decided to walk until we found something open. Totu was the only opened place and was full of italians, no tourists. The waiters didn't know very well english but explained us they could bring some local first dishes to taste some sicilian food. We were happy to hear that and their offer: 15 euro per person, one drink included. The food was very good, as we can see in the photo and very tasty and for dessert i took the typical cannoli, which was very good. Glad we arrived by mistake at this place:
