This is an wine bar and steak house, Traditional gingham table cloths bright and airy Good selection of wines -I tried the speciality Mick brewery bottled beer from Sicily (excellent) My steak was cooked to perfection and was probably one of the best I've had this year. I travel all over Europe so I feel I can say it was one of the best. Situated off beaten track and about 8 Euro taxi ride from central station And worth it
This was absolutely the best meal we have had in our four days in Milan! We chose this restaurant for the location, menu and wine selection. The ambience was so perfect for our last night in Milan. We began with aperol spritzer, then had the parmigiana cake (eggplant), with filets for our main course. The pacing of the meal and the quality of each course was perfect! Our steaks were medium rare, exactly as requested. I ordered a side of grilled vegetables, and were I vegetarian, they would have made a complete meal! Our server recommended a Valpolicella to have with the meat and it was the best accompaniment. We ended our meal with lemon sorbet and limoncello. On the walk back to our hotel, we recounted the evening and agreed that it truly was a meal to remember.
On the way to a concert nearby we happened on this steak house-winebar, a true discovery for the area which is mostly inhabited by students and senior citizens. A good variety of wines and artisanal beers accompanies designer burgers and American style appetizers like Buffalo wings and onion rings which arrived piping hot and delicious. Soft bacground music and roomy tables made for pleasant conversation. The menu also included fillets in various guises and some fish dishes as well, all in all a good choice. The ambience recalls the USA.
Mangiato a cena ieri sera con amici.Premetto che essendo vegetariana ero un poco dubbiosa anche per esperienze in altri posti.Invece ho mangiato benissimo.Staff giovane ed accogliente,sorridente,simpatico.Cucina a vista vicinissima alla nostra sistemazione.Tra l'altro ambiente con luci calde basse e diffuse davvero piacevoli e rilassanti.I piatto che dire ..assolutamente ottimi.Il macco di fare con verdura cotta distesa sopra,assolutamente eccellente.Parmigiana perfetta.Ed ecco il risotto...buccia di banana di molte cucine ma in questo caso da premio.Cottura assolutamente perfetta ed i suoi componenti,gorgonzola e noci in equilibrio totale nessuno che scavalcasse l'altro e dunque paradiso in bocca.Poi ,solo.per veg .....rotolini di pesce spada ripieni.Ora io detesto lo spada per il suo sapore troppo deciso ma qui il cuoco si è superato.Delicata e sottile la fetta di spada ripiena penso alla sicula con capperi uvetta pinoli penso pecorino e poi non so.perche' li ho divorati.Buonisdimi.Ma anche i carnivori cannibali si sono detti entusiasti dei loro.piatti animali.Quindi un posto da provare e ritornare assolutamente.Ci rivedremo presto.Bravi ragazzi.
