Ratana' - Milano

We loved this place and agree we don't understand the mixed reviews. We sat on the outside patio and got the tasting menu with wine pairings. The tasting menu allows you to customize your choices, and the server made some excellent suggestions including the traditional risotto which was amazing. The smoked trout entree was truly one of the best cooked fish dishes I've ever had. The sommelier also suggested a unique, really good red wine to go with our dessert, based on my husband's request for something other than the usual dessert wine. Would definitely go back here.

In the shadow of the Bosco Verticale in an urban park, this restaurant does not feel as if it is in the middle of a big city. The setting is very pretty. Both food and wine selections were more than adequate and the service was very good.

Best place I have visited so far in Italy. We are both vegetarian and they were very accommodating, offering us lots of options. We ordered minestrone, tomato risotto and ravioli, all were delicious, minestrone being my favourite. We then ordered the panna cotta, which was very nice, but would have been better without all the berries and nuts/granola around it which over-powered the panna cotta (even though the nuts and berries were nice). Overall, very impressed and do not understand their low rating, perhaps a change of staff or management.

Abbiamo soggiornato a pranzo per lavoro in questa bella camera moderna con vista sul centro del business di Milano e devo dire che siamo stati molto bene. ampia la scelta di piatti locali con eccellenti rivisitazioni moderne. ottimo risotto e dolci spettacolari, accompagnati da una carta di vino di alta qualità. servizio attento e veloce, personale molto cordiale. la possibilità di pranzare sia all'interno della stanza che all'esterno. prezzi adattati alla qualità del ristorante, alla posizione e alla cucina dello chef. davvero una bella esperienza culinaria da consigliare. Bene!

Ho passato una serata meravigliosa con la mia fidanzata al pubblico del ristorante. abbiamo scelto per una degotazione ed era tutto perfetto. Vecchio risotto milanese una poesia, davvero buona. grande servizio dei ragazzi nella stanza che ci ha seguito tutta la sera facendo nulla mancante. Grazie!
