Delicious food (mainly fish, but with other options too), very good value for money, and friendly service

Fish restaurant serving traditional sicilian cuisine. I have been there several times and always been impressed by the excellence of the food served. The gran antipasti is worth a try, a mix of 10+ cold and warm antipasti (min 2 people), ranging from tuna tartare, oysters, langoustine to mussels also accompanied by delicious caponata (sweet and savour aubergine and peppers) and involtini di melanzane (aubergine rolls stuffed with mozzarella cheese). The menu is rich and off the menu dishes are often available, depending on the catch of the day . Desserts are highly recommended, cannoli and cassata are a must of the sicilian tradition, although I was very impressed by the semifreddo al pistacchio. Booking is highly recommended. Do not be misled by the low key style of the restaurant (it could do with some modernization), the food is excellent and the prices absolutely reasonable. The location is away from the touristic routes but it is well served by public transport (bus n.92) and parking is easily available in the area.
