Maid-rite - Milan

They were very busy and had new employees but still handle everything fast and professionally. The food was hot and served as ordered. Nice varity in the atmosphere.

This was my favorite stop on a long road trip. The sandwiches are so moist and tender with perfectly blended spices and onions that if your older, you might remember eating at Grandmas in the 60’s. I wish they would spread out and open a branch here. The decorations are Pepsi mostly and RT66. We sat and then got up to peruse the walls. Lived it! The staff are sweet and right on top of your needs and they were happy!! My kinda place. Enjoy and get the chicken car filled with nuggets that are real chicken!

I have literally not been to a Maid-Rite burger for 44 years. The last one I remember going to was in Hammond Indiana. Thete's just something about those loose meat burgers and the crispy fries and those wonderful hand-dipped shakes. I ended up having to come here for a job and was startled to see the Maid-Rite sign because I thought they had all gone out of business. Now that I know they have not I will be back. A very pleasing discovery for a cold November afternoon. Attentive wait staff as well made the visit memorable.

Classic old school diner with counter service. Food was great. Service was friendly.

Have to visit everytime I am in town! Love the loose meat sandwiches (Maid-Rite). Never tried anything else on the menu but it all looks good!
