La Vineria Di San Giovanni - Milan

We looked for something close to the Hilton Garden Inn for our first evening in Milan and this suited us nicely. Authentic Milanese dishes and sharing boards complement the extensive wine list, which is the real star. Everything we had was tasty and prices reasonable. The staff are friendly too.

Awesome dishes (the Salmon was delicious), great wine, really nice service and an authentic atmosphere.

The restaurant had more wine options than they had food by about 10 fold . Food took forever to come even though the restaurant was empty . Food wasn’t great either . I had the steak with rustic potatoes and my! Were they rustic, I couldn’t even bite into them . I wanted to like it because our waitress seemed lovely but it just wasn’t great
