La Chilanguita - Miguel Hidalgo

I am vegetarian and I had something that they call tacos de fideos like spaghetti in a taco. they laugh all they want, but it was delicious! and it is not the tequila herradura that I had while I digest this Italo Mexican concoction. Anyway, the ambiente is young,... loud and funny! Live music at the weekend. great place to celebrate or sit, listen to the music and drink until they cook.

We thought there would be live music (mariachis,) but that was not the case. did not like the music and the service was very bad.

It was a bit difficult to rate this restaurant because I can understand why some people are disappointed but overall I had a positive experience. The deco is a bit touristic rather that genuine Mexican and service is unpredictable but overall the food was good...and we ask several dishes and the price was in the high side for the food. Certainly not the best but quite decent overall

Avoid this place! The service is terrible. We made reservations for NYE's dinner which was supposed to include an appetizer, main course, dessert, grapes and champagne. We had to ask the waiter for the appetizer (he didn't know). We lined up for an hour to...get our main course only to find out that there wasnt enough food, plates or forks for everyone. When we asked for our dessert, champange and grapes, the waiter kept telling us that they were coming. An hour later he said they had ran out of everything. We didn't even get napkins. Management was extremely rude. They fired the waiter, which was completely unfair as he was doing what he could with a full restaurant and limited resources.

I went to the one in Insurgentes for drinks and food. Although they are pricy, I like the tostadas de atun. At the end I ended up with a bad taste because they charged more than 20% of service!!! In Mexico tipping is not mandatory,...so I think the waitress are underpaid so they had to do that in order to get some money. I am not coming back there.
