Lugar súper acogedor, primer servicio y comida espectacular.
My brother and I met for lunch at Cerro Viento as it is located near his office. I wanted a table on the terrace but there were a strange smell and also flies over the tables. We ordered duck tacos four small portions) and beef sopes as well as an artichoke and tortilla soup. Everything was more than average. Finally we had two small cakes and a coffee and without wine, the bill was about $1,000 pesos!!! $50 use). Absolutely overpriced. The place is half full and the service is average. We will never go back there.
I had a business lunch here this month and was impressed by the location and the beautiful setting of this place. This alone is worth the trip. Service was very nice, competent and swift. The food was mixed. Very good appetizer, more average fish as main course Although relative expensive. So ... no mistake to go here. But balance your expectations a little bit.
We thought we were going for a Cuban meal. Turns out the Cerro Viento in Polenco is more of an Mexican/Italian restaurant which featured a live Cuban band. A cosy place it turned out to be and the food was fairly good. The chicken I ordered – Pechuga de Pollo Don Je – was delectable, a bed of buttery spinach with a tender chicken breast subtly seasoned. The others ordered Tacos de Cameron Est. Ro, a Rib eye and a Soup. All were fairly good. The dessert and the music were both exciting. Guantamera! The bill was extremely reasonable.
