I have here with my Chinese wife and mother in law on 23rd juni '18. we were on a bus tour and there was a love of decent places to eat. yet they are very fussy, but we all enjoy and appreciate the food we have ordered. If we're ever back in slc, we're going here.

Really good traditional Chinese cuisine. The price is also good. But the service will be hit or missed. Sometimes they get your food to you on time, other times they can make your order wrong or other mistakes that can melt your meal. But about all If you don't stand the risk in service, the food is amazing. The employees do not speak much English.

I love eating at Sweet Ginger! This is not your Bland Utah Chinese cuisine, but tasteful and authentic dishes. The Spicy Boiled Fish is a must for anyone who enjoys a little spice.

Our number one favorite Chinese food restaurant in the salt lake valley .... We are very picky when it comes to food quality, Sweet Ginger meets our exacting expectations. Additional to this, we can get sesame balls, a dish that is hard to find. In January sweet ginger closed for remodeling of the kitchen, and are now re-opened. A thing to celebrate! Fresher food quickly prepared to order. Example: the garlic chicken has fresh sliced garlic not the pickeled stuff from a jar or powder. Among other ingredients that are a cut above the average... I can't wait to go back ... Only problem we have is a slight language barrier, but we managed.
