Delicious food, excellent service, and a charming atmosphere!
Great music, delicious food, and wonderful company—this is one of the best spots to enjoy in Cotabato City!
Avenue Grill is a well-known dining spot in Cotabato. Upon arrival, you're asked whether you'd like to sit in the grill area or the section for steaks and burgers. We chose the grill. They offer halal options for their fish and chicken, meaning their food preparation adheres to Islamic law. My personal favorite is their grilled chicken, which is juicy and has a subtle hint of ginger—a common ingredient in Mindanao cuisine. I paired it with their buttery garlic rice. You should also try their fried and grilled catfish, known locally as hito. The grilled hito is particularly delicious, without the added breading found in the fried version. Additionally, they serve papaitan, a well-known Ilocano soup made from meat innards. The restaurant features an open-air space, making it a relatively safe choice regarding COVID-19. They also have live music on certain days of the week. It's worth noting that during the pandemic, Cotabato has a no-movement policy on Sundays, so the restaurant is closed on that day.
