June Bug Cafe - Midpines

Actually, I really wanted to love this place. it was a little too rustic for my taste and there were no really good options for dinner. they pay at the counter and bring the food to them. there's a place to put all their dishes when they're done. for the price I would have expected more from their typical seat restaurant. that was in order. I ordered the trout. it came with a garnel thai salat up and rice. I enjoyed the garnelensalat more than the trout. I have dessert cake and that was the best part. Overall, I think that I expected only a better meal than what I received for the price.

This is truly a hidden gem. Food was amazing and 100 times better than a few other places closer to the park. Worth the 20-30 min drive.

Portions are huge! I had the prime rib and it was delicious! I could not even eat half of it. My husband had a cheeseburger and he couldn't finish his either. He also said it was delicious. The lunches and dinners are really good.

Great food and value, beautiful place! We loved everything. Bad coffee though.

Made a reservation at 1:45. They stopped serving earlier than that. They may want to update their info on open table.
