Mod Pizza - Midlothian

I usually frequent this place and the food is good however today was a different story. I placed an online order for curbside pick up and as I sat in my car waiting on my food an employee came out to give a customer their food and I dont know if she sneezed or what but mucus was dangling from both nostrils and she wiped it with one hand and handed the woman her food with the other hand. I no longer wanted curbside so I went in to get my food only to see mucus on the door handle of the restaurant and the same girl inside making pizzas. I went in right after her so I can't see how she washed her hands that fast and put gloves on and started making pizzas. That was pure disgusting!

I read a lot of great reviews about this location, so maybe I just came at the wrong place wrong time.I walked in with family and noticed the only other customers were another family, and a couple, and yet every single booth inside was dirty, and we were not approached right away by a server to take our order. We noticed how dirty the pizza bar looked, as if they had just had a huge rush, but we did not see any employees out cleaning the area, I was very hesitant to order food at that point. Finally, a young gentleman walked up to take our order. Maybe he was a new employee, as he did not appear confident in what he was doing, and he did not speak up loud enough to take our order, so there was a lot of miscommunication in the beginning. After about 10 minutes of just getting out 3 pizza crusts for us and only adding the sauces, another employee came out to top our pizzas. I thought you could just tell the employees what kind of pizza you wanted based off of the menu, but she continues to ask what toppings we wanted on the pizza. I ordered a margherita pizza, gluten free crust, and I was satisfied with what the menu had said for the toppings, but she continues to ask me what toppings I wanted.The service was extremely slow, I am 7 months pregnant, I only ate 2 slices of my pizza when I started experiencing stomach issues from it. It's currently the next morning (4 am) and I am still experiencing this issue. I will not be coming back here.

The food is great. It's like subway but for pizza! It is a great concept. So if you don't like it, change your toppings ?. We tried the wings last time as well, they were a hit. It is good and fast.The only negative thing is sometimes it's not as clean as I think it should be, but in their defense, they are usually pretty busy.Check it out sometime!Kid-friendliness: It is awesome for kids that are picky eaters! Getting to choose their toppings seems to make them want to try more options. My kids went from only eating cheese pizza to pizza with chicken, hamburger, ham, different kinds of cheese, pineapple, and pepperoni. They also try different sauces now , too!

I love MOD but today was a miss. My pizzas were not cooked enough. I waited about 10 minutes past pick up time and would've waited longer. Please don't rush it if you're running behind. Just let me know.Food: 3/5

Whomever the “manager” was tonight was incredibly RUDE. Rude to doordash drivers. Rude to others picking up orders. Rude to other employees. The store is filthy. I will NEVER get food here again. Just watching how she treated other people was so upsetting. The poor doordash guy waited 30 minutes for 3 salads. 3. Salads. It was obvious she was being passive aggressive and forcing him to wait just to be ugly.If Miss Bandana wants to be this type of manager she needs to go to Wal Mart.
