Something Sweet Dessert Cafe

This cafe is conveniently situated in downtown Middletown, nestled in a charming old corner building. It offers both indoor and outdoor seating. We visited after dinner and only had dessert, which was delicious. We’ve decided to return sometime to sample their lunch and dinner offerings.

The food here is exceptional, with an impressive variety and unique flavor combinations, including many vegetarian options. It’s clear that the chef has a true passion for cooking and caters to a wide range of tastes. The atmosphere is lovely and the desserts are delightful without being overly sweet. This place is an incredible discovery!

Something Sweet is consistently fantastic! The highlight for me is definitely the vegan cupcakes. As someone who is allergic to dairy, I really appreciate being able to enjoy delicious treats that are safe for me. Finding great vegan cupcakes can be challenging, but they absolutely nail it here. The food is excellent as well!

My husband suggested we try somewhere new for date night. We loved how quaint this sweet little place was. The service was amazing and the food impeccable. The only thing was we were too full for dessert. So I know where I'll be asking him to take me for date night really soon.

Located on a narrow street, and is not good on parking. I suggest parking behind the DMV, and walking back. It is about a block or so. Most of the desserts are a bit pricey, but I am sure they are all good. The Apple Crisp is AMAZING! Probably the best I have had so far. They do sell more than just desserts. They have salads, sandwiches, and entrees. I just went for dessert, but also bought a Apple Maple salad which was pretty good.
