Island Fish Head 2 Jamaican

If I could give this place zero stars, I would. We ordered fish, shrimp, and a dish that totaled $85.00, but they canceled our order. When we inquired about the reason, they informed us they were out of fish and shrimp. While that’s understandable, it’s frustrating that they didn’t reach out to ask if we wanted to choose something else instead of just canceling. We only reordered the chicken for my grandmother, and then they called to say they only had a specific type of chicken available. We agreed to that, but they told her she would need to speak to the manager. After that, they simply deleted our order without informing us of any issues. Overall, it seems they do not prioritize customer service or value their patrons.

Very very delicious! Loved every bit of my sweet chili salmon order! The workers there were super nice as well. The food here was made with love and giant portions too!

Ive been in middletown for about three years and i was missing the Jamaican food i would eat back in the city and the food here really hit the spot! the fried chicken here is the best ive had and everything with packaged with care, the portions are also big!

Okay... I'm overwhelmed by the service AND quality I received from Island Fish Head. I had to go and check it out myself after having it for dinner with a friend the prior week. The first time entering this establishment I was immediately greeted and welcomed by the gentleman at the register. The restaurant is small but they've gone above and beyond to accommodate COVID measures. They've done so by having available hand sanitizer, enforcing social distance and by having a glass shield with a intercom system. I felt very safe. I even saw the Clorox wipes left out from when they cleaned between customers : My arrival was a late hour so it was pretty vacant but I noticed a flat screen TV, tables and chairs for dine in. I opted for takeout, which I recommend. I generally go to Carson's Kitchen for my jerk pasta but let me tell you guys this; if you loved Carsons's Kitchen once I added it to Yelp you will adore Island Fish Head's jerk pasta. I got this same meal two nights in a row! They took great care with preparing packaging my order. Ensuring I liked everything down to the inquiry about my preferred spice level and offering suggestions. I requested the hottest lol. The woman who further assisted was more than pleasant and also inquired if I was pleased with the food presentation before she bagged it. Which I thought looked astounding. Honestly my pic doesn't do it justice lol. I further add I did call Dunns River prior to making the decision to go to Island Fish Head. However, they weren't accepting phone orders and I didn't have time to wait. I made the best choice imo! : I recommend Island Fish Head! Highly! I noticed delivery is available too on platforms like UberEats, Grub Hub, DoorDash etc.
