Diego's Barrio Cantina - Middletown

After seeing some of the newport herren houses today, we decided to drive to other parts of the surrounding rhode Island areas. a series of vegan options were listed on the menu, which was a nice start. we started with the vegan nachos and we were presented with a plate of chips with a lot of were! accompanied with a local ipa for the ideal starter. I wish I had not ordered the vegan tacos because (1) I was full and (2) the vegan tacos were really not so good. I was really disappointed with them. I would just come back to try other options, but not the tacos.

Each part of the menu had vegan options. the portions are perfect and I felt full after my meal. the server were great, the drinks were delicious and the decor was cool. can not recommend this place enough!

The place is sweet with some outside seats with a beautiful view. I ordered the vegan tacos, the most grilled vegetables tanned with vegan cheese. I also tried the Tofu-Tacos that had some veggies and ananas. I prefer the vegan tacos. they both come with a side tear. They were already a little sharp, so they didn't need extra hot sauce. overall it is a beautiful place, especially when you hang out with non-vegans.

From the moment we arrived in the go, we met with those who were angry and or incapable. they were unfriendly and negatiw, even have to offer the vegan menu. they have the wrong order for eating and drinking wrong. I give them generously 2 stars, as eating was tolerable, they avoid being available other options. we will not return

The tacos were really oily and the rice they come with was real tired. I would not come back plus the order of two tacos and rice was $15 and if I had not ordered chips and salsa- it would not have been enough.
