Destefano's Olde Erie - Middletown

I can't say enough good things about this restaurant. They have private rooms for special events, a fantastic and attentive bar, and a beautiful dining room filled with lovely lighting! The food is always more than enough for two people (except for the sandwiches, of course) and absolutely delicious! It's definitely one of my top five restaurants in the area!

The portions are great for families. I ordered the gnocchi and meatballs, but I found the sauce to be a bit too heavy and thick for my taste. On the other hand, the zucchini sticks were excellent—thickly sliced and delicious!

I absolutely loved the atmosphere at Erie. It had a welcoming, homey feel to it. Everyone inside seemed to know each other, and everyone was cheerful and engaged in conversation. The waitstaff, bartenders, and kitchen staff were all friendly, greeting guests and chatting with them. I was having such a great time that I didn’t even pay attention to what I ordered! The food was fantastic. If you're in the area, I highly recommend stopping by.

I went there with my mother, father for the first time. Enjoyed the food very much. There was a lot more than we thought there would be so we ended up taking most of it home with us. The cost for the food was very good as well. The waitress was very nice, respectful. The female employee who came to give us water more than once was nice, respectful as well. The female employee who covered the bar is the one who took the great photo of us three. Nice, respectful. Definitely a 5 star or more. I recommend this place very much. Thank you for your service.
