"Delicious food served piping hot on warm plates, with generous portion sizes. The restaurant is situated in a charming old building that features a maze of rooms, complete with real fireplaces and beautiful oak beams, adding to its character. It is said to have a friendly ghost too! The staff are excellent—very friendly and attentive. They offer a carvery as well as a lovely menu. Parking is convenient; just enter your vehicle registration number at the bar when you arrive. Price per person ranges from £10 to £20. Overall, I would rate the food a solid 5 out of 5!"

I've eaten here a few times but today's experience wasn't good, I wanted to order the cheese pie with mashed potatoes and beans but they couldn't swop chips for mash, dont know why as they are both potatoes so I ordered sausage mash and beans instead, it arrived smothered in strong smelling onion gravy, who puts onion gravy with beans, I had to just pick at the bits and cover it with beans. Also I feel more veggie options would be good, my partner is veggie always ends up with cheese pie or burger, thankfully he likes chips.
